Born in Suwon, South Korean, Joon-Young Lee (They/Them) is an emerging fine art and fashion photographer based in Toronto/Tkaronto, Canada.  With their works primarily driven by their queer and asian identity, Lee uses this as a foundation for their work to challenge the social and cultural conversations within their life. Often in collaboration with others, Lee’s photographs visually aim to bring together their love for cinema, fashion and the spectrum of character. They received their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography Media Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University and is currently working to further build upon their artistic practice.
